Terms of Use

By accessing and using the services provided by Dallas Wedding Officiants and The Courthouse Wedding Chapel of Dallas (hereinafter referred to as "the Service Providers"), you (hereinafter referred to as "the Client") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and the Service Providers.


1. Service Duration: 

All wedding ceremonies shall be conducted within a time frame not exceeding fifteen (15) minutes, consistent with the duration of a courthouse wedding ceremony.


2. Guest Limitations:

The Client agrees to limit the number of guests in attendance to fewer than fifteen (15) individuals. The designated location is not equipped to accommodate larger groups.


3. Venue Usage: 

The Client acknowledges that Winnwood Park is a neighborhood park with limited or no parking facilities. Any gathering comprising more than twenty (20) individuals necessitates the acquisition of a Park Use Permit, which is restricted to certain types of gatherings (such as HOA meetings or block parties) that do not require additional parking or restroom facilities.

 

4.  Park Usage: 

The Service Providers do not own Winnwood Park. All events held within the park premises are subject to the park’s rules and regulations, which are designed for the enjoyment and benefit of all patrons. The Client agrees to adhere to all applicable park regulations.


5.  Affiliations: 

The Service Providers are integrated auxiliaries of the Esoteric Interfaith Fellowship.


6.  Fees and Contributions: 

All fees paid to the Service Providers are accepted as contributions for the following services: wedding officiant services and/or the delivery, setup, and use of a wedding arch/arbor with attached floral arrangements or other decorations. Contributions may be tax-deductible, and a contemporaneous written acknowledgment will be provided upon request.


7.  No Refund Policy: 

   Any fees accepted as contributions are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, we will reschedule as needed. 

The Client acknowledges and agrees to this no-refund policy upon payment.


8. Booking and Payment: 

All bookings must be completed online through the Service Providers' website at DallasWeddingOfficiants.com/BookOnline  

All dates and times are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations cannot be confirmed without full payment in advance.


9. Marriage License: 

The Client is responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license in advance of the ceremony and must present it at the time of the ceremony.


10.  Rescheduling and Cancellation:

    Upon receiving a confirmation email, the Client will be provided with a link to reschedule or cancel their ceremony if necessary. 


  11.  Rescheduling Policy:

    Reschedule Limit: We will not accept more than three reschedules for any appointment. After the third reschedule, the appointment will be canceled.

    

12. Cancellation: 

Upon receiving a confirmation email, the Client will be provided with a link to reschedule or cancel their ceremony if necessary.


13. Personal Information: 

The Client must provide the preferred names and gender pronouns of both parties when booking. This information should be entered during the scheduling process.


By utilizing the services of the Service Providers, the Client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms of use. The Service Providers reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with such modifications becoming effective upon posting on the Service Providers' website. The Client is responsible for regularly reviewing these terms to ensure compliance.
